The Mindanao Inclusive Agricultural Development Project (MIADP) is a special project of the Department of Agriculture that aims to sustainably increase agricultural productivity, resiliency, and access to markets and services of organized farmer and fisherfolk groups in selected ancestral domains and for selected value chains in Mindanao.
The project has a total fund of Php6.25 billion covering a six-year implementation period. The World Bank loan amounts to Php5.0 B, representing 80 percent of the total project financing. The remaining 20 percent of the total project cost will come from the DA (Php831.45 M), LGUs (Php356.05 M), and Indigenous Peoples Organization (Php62.50 M).
The newly appointed DA Secretary Francisco Tiu Laurel together with World Bank Country Director Ndiame Diop led the grand launch of MIADP on November 6, 2023, in Quezon City. (RPCO XI) #MIADP
